The 53rd Italian Fashion Trade Show in Japan, which will be held in Tokyo from July 3rd to 5th 2018, features the Spring/Summer 2019 collections for women, men, children, leather goods, and fashion accessories. Japan is the 9th most important outlet market and the 2nd in Asia for Italian clothing exports. Italy is the 3rd most important clothing supplier (a 2.6% share) after China (78.2%) and Vietnam (6.6%). “Moda Italia” was launched in 1992. It is the only trade show exclusively dedicated to Italian fashion in Japan. It presents the entire range of products, hosting a total of 170 companies and welcoming 2,000 visitors. Besides its fashion apparel and accessories section, it also has a leather goods section and is held at the same time as Shoes from Italy, a trade show for Italian footwear.
